
Jennifer Bolivar is a bilingual attorney at Lahoud Law Group, P.C. She is a first-generation Colombian American; her native language is Spanish.
Ms. Bolivar serves on the Board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley and the YWCA-Bethlehem. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association (including the Minority Bar Committee and Women in the Profession Committee), Hispanic National Bar Association, Pennsylvania Hispanic Bar Association, Bar Association of Lehigh County (including the Bench-Bar Liaison Committee and Young Lawyers Division), Northampton County Bar Association, and Psi Chi, the International Honors Society in Psychology. Additionally, she volunteers for Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and the Pennsylvania State University’s (“Penn State”) Student Mentoring Program.
Before joining Lahoud Law Group, Ms. Bolivar gained experience across a wide range of practice areas, including business, family, adoption, real estate, property, affordable housing, landlord-tenant, contract, general litigation, Title IX, estate law, and insurance defense. She was also a Divorce Review Officer to the Honorable Zachary J. Cohen.
Ms. Bolivar attended Widener University Commonwealth Law where she graduated a semester early with cum laude honors and an Advocacy Certificate. Ms. Bolivar was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society and an active campus leader, including being Founder and President of the Latin American Law Student Association; Executive Vice President of the Student Government Association; and Membership Co-Chair of the Federal Bar Association. She is a recipient of her law school’s Outstanding Service Award.
During law school, Ms. Bolivar interned for United States Magistrate Judge Martin C. Carlson of the Middle District, and she was a Certified Legal Intern with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in the Torts Litigation Section.
Ms. Bolivar gained experience in human services prior to law school. She worked as a Case Manager for Valley Youth House and as an Investigator with Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services.
Ms. Bolivar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Business Component from Penn State, where she graduated a year early with Distinction Honors. During her time at Penn State, Jennifer was an active campus leader—including being President of the Student Government Association. During her time at Penn State, Ms. Bolivar also completed an internship with the Office of the District Attorney of Lehigh County.
