Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, Ameena was a Public Service Fellow with the Health Initiatives department of Community Society Services New York, where she was a primary case handler, managing a large volume of cases in health law.

While at Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Ameena participated in several prestigious National Moot Court Competitions.
